Electrocution Protection Missing from Sweet Heat Dryers

Sweet Heat handheld hair dryers are being recalled because there’s no protection device which guards against electrocution if the dryer is immersed in water. The hair dryers effected are white with the words “Sweet Heat” printed near the blower’s nozzle. There will also be the words “AG Hair” printed on the back of the blower above the nozzle.

There’ve been no injuries reported, however, consumers should unplug the device immediately. Contact AG Hair at their toll-free number: (866) 924-4247 to request a pre-paid package which you can use to return the dryer for a full refund. They’re open from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. They’re reached by email at recall@aghair.com, or online at www.aghair.com. At their webpage click “Recall Notice” for more information.
