Merrick Pet Care has recently issued a recall for its beef dog treat varieties, because according to an FDA report, they contain elevated levels of a naturally-occurring beef thyroid hormone. This can cause some symptoms such as increased thirst and urination, weight loss, increased heart rate and restlessness.
