Harbor Freight Tools has recently issued a recall for its two models of 0.17 cubic foot capacity electronic handgun safes, because, according to the CPSC, they can open without the use of a key or combination upon impact and allow unintended access to the contents of the safe, posing a risk of serious injury to children and others.
The recalled products were sold at Harbor Freight Tools stores nationwide and online at www.harborfreight.com. They can be identified by the SKU numbers 62984 and 61581.
