7,5k Flashlights Recalled Due to Explosion Risk

Koehler-Bright Star has recently issued a recall for its WorkSafe 3-D cell flashlights, because, according to the CPSC, they are missing an encapsulation on a circuit board component which protects the flashlight from igniting an explosive environment.

The recalled products can be identified by the model number 2224 LED. They were sold at Koehler-Bright Star Industrial distributors, Grainger and online at Amazon.com.

What you can do

Stop using the recalled products and contact the company for a free replacement. For further information you can reach the company at 800-788-1696 or at  2224LEDReplacement@kbs-inc.net.
