Amrita Health Foods is voluntarily recalling several protein bars due to a possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
Some symptoms of Listeria infection may include: high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
Listeriosis can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
