What To Do if you purchased this item:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cribs and contact Bexco for a free replacement mattress support which includes replacement brackets.  In the meantime, parents are urged to find an alternate, safe sleeping environment for the child, such as a bassinet, play yard or toddler bed depending on the child’s age.

In a statement made this week, Davinci Baby says,

…The firm have received 15 reports of detachments but no resulting injuries. However, we are conducting this safety recall since serious injury could occur to a child who falls through the gap or in the worst case scenario asphyxiation from entrapment.
