Children’s Winter Boots Recalled Due to Violation of Federal Lead Content Ban

Lilly of New York has recently issued a recall for its Lilly of New York children’s winter boots, because, according to the CPSC, the boots’ sole contain levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban.  Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

The recalled products were sold at Zulily.com. They can be identified by the style numbers 53325, 53323, 53317, and 53324.
