The company, Giant Factories, is withdrawing gas water heaters from the market. The machine is dysfunctional because the device which regulates its flames can fail which causes a serious threat of fire or explosion to arise.

The potentially dangerous models were distributed in Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania between April 2014 and October 2014. The heaters are 30, 40, and 60 gallons in capacity. There’ll be a red “Giant” decal on the front of these white tanks. There’s a nameplate near the gas valve with the model number and serial number. Recalled heaters have the following model and serial codes:
