BRP has recently issued a recall for its model year 2019 Ski-Doo Backcountry, Freeride, MXZ, Renegade and Summit snowmobiles, because, according to the CPSC, the vehicle can have a fuel leak at the fuel injector, posing a fire hazard.
They can be identified by the model names BACKCOUNTRY 850 E-TEC, BACKCOUNTRY X 850 E-TEC, BACKCOUNTRY XRS 850 E-TEC, FREERIDE 850 E-TEC, MXZ BLIZZARD 850 E-ETC, MXZ TNT 850 E-TEC, MXZ X 850 E-TEC, MXZ XRS 850 E-TEC, RENEGADE ADRENALINE 850 E-TEC, RENEGADE X 850 E-TEC, RENEGADE XRS 850 E-TEC, SUMMIT SP 850 E-TEC and SUMMIT X 850 E-TEC. They were sold at Ski-Doo dealers nationwide.
