Spinach from Amy’s Kitchen May Cause Sickness

Amy’s Kitchen is recalling approximately 74, 000 cases of food containing spinach because there’s a possibility that the spinach contains Listeria monocytogenes. This is an organism that can cause fatal infections in children, the elderly, or others with frail immune systems. In healthy individuals, this bacteria can cause high fever, sever headaches, stiffness, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, as well as, miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
