Tankless Water Heaters and Boilers Recalled Due to CO Poisoning Risk

Navien has recently issued a recall for its Navien condensing tankless water heaters and combination boilers, because, according to the CPSC, a kit installed on the tankless water heaters and boilers to convert them from natural gas to propane can cause the unit to produce excessive amounts of carbon monoxide, posing a risk of poisoning.

The recalled products can be identified by the UPC codes 884954974101, 884954974194, and 884954966083. They were sold at wholesale distributors to installers nationwide.
