White-Rodgers has recently issued a recall for its Emerson branded SensiWiFi thermostats, because, according to the CPSC, the contact between the thermostat wires and household line voltage can damage the thermostat, posing a fire risk.
The recalled products were mainly sold at Johnstone, Home Depot and Golden State FC stores and Heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment distributors nationwide. They can be identified by the model numbers 1F86U-42WF or UP500W.
