Whole Foods has issued a voluntary recall of packaged raw macadamia nuts. The recall stems from possible Salmonella contamination.

The product in question has the labeling, “Whole Foods Market Raw Macadamia Nuts” and was packaged in 11 oz. plastic tubs. The recalled product has best-by dates of March 19, 2016 through June 21, 2016. The UPC code of this product is 0-76958-62059-1.
The recalled items were sold in Whole Foods stores in the following states:
AR, AZ, CA, CO, HI, KS, LA, NM, NV, OK, TX, and UT
At time of this article, no illnesses have been reported. Testing executed by an FDA-contracted laboratory determined that these raw macadamia nuts tested positive for Salmonella.
