FedEx Supply Chain has recently issued a recall for its cellphone batteries placed into refurbished AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4 cellphones and distributed as replacement phones through AT&T’s Insurance program, because they can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards.

What you can do
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the batteries and power down their smartphones. FedEx will send a new replacement battery and a postage paid box to return the recalled cellphone battery. For further information you can contact the company at 800-338-0163 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or online at www.exchangemybattery.com
