Cheese Is Recalled Due to Listeria Risk

Sprout Creek Farm of Poughkeepsie has recently issued a recall for 132 wheels of “Margie” cheese, because, according to the FDA, they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled products were distributed to the following places: Hudson Valley Harvest, Mohonk Mountain House, Olsen and Company, Gossetts Market, Tannat Wine and Cheese, Sheep and Wool Fest, Adam Fairacre Farms, Stinky Brooklyn and Ocen House Oyster Bar & Grill. They can be identified by the lot number make date of 10-9-18 and best by dates of 12-9-18.
