Dole Spinach Recall Overiview:

Dole is recalling a limited number of cases of their bagged Spinach Salad. The recalled product is Dole Spinach coded A27409B & A27409A, with an Enjoy By date of Oct. 15 and UPC 7143000976.

The contamination was discovered during standard testing procedures by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. This caused the company to immediately recall the Dole Spinach Salad. The company is also contacting all of its retailers who may have the spinach salad in stock, to remove from shelves. Over 36,000 bags of spinach salad have been recalled. Neither baby spinach nor any other salads are affected.

No illnesses have been reported.

Where Was the Dole Spinach Salad Sold?

The recall is affecting thirteen states in which the spinach salad was sold to. These states include:

Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania,Tennessee and Wisconsin.
