Kroger Seasonings Recall

Kroger has issued a voluntary recall of four of their spices and seasonings. Salmonella was found in one of the products being sold, which prompted the recall. The spices in question:

Kroger ground cinnamon, Kroger garlic powder, Kroger coarse ground black pepper and Kroger Bac’n Buds. No illnesses have been reported.

“Customers who have purchased the above products should not consume them and should return them to a store for a full refund or replacement”, a direct quote from Kroger in a news release.

The states involved in the recall:
Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia and West Virginia

In addition to official Kroger stores, the items were also sold in:
Ralphs, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Jay C., King Soopers, Fry’s, Fred Meyer, and Smiths.
