24,000 Gasoline Engines Recalled Because of Fire and Leak Risk

Kohler Engines has recently issued a recall for its gasoline engines, because, according to the CPSC, they have a faulty fuel cap, which can allow over-pressurization in the fuel tank, posing a risk of a fuel leak and fire hazard.

The model numbers are SH265, CH245, CH255, CH270, CH395, CH440, and ECH440.

The recalled products were sold at Authorized Kohler and original equipment manufacturers, distributors and dealers and online at www.HomeDepot.com and other websites.

What you can do

Stop using the recalled products and contact the company for a free repair. For further information the company can be reached at 877-333-3948 or at EngineFieldService@kohler.com.
