Britax Car Seat Recall

Britax has tested and determined several of their “ClickTight” convertible car seat models could contain a defect with the harness adjuster button. This defect presents scenarios which could cause a safety hazard. The safety issue is the harness adjuster button could stay down in the “release” position after the harness is tightened. In this event, a child’s moving within the seat could disengage the shoulder harness, and a loosened harness may not sufficiently protect a child if there were to be a collision. Britax has fully cooperated with the NHTSA, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and announced the Company is voluntarily recalling the following convertible car seats:

Advocate ClickTight
Boulevard ClickTight
Marathon ClickTight

The seats were manufactured between August 1st, 2014 and July 29th, 2015. The model numbers in question:
