Bean Bag Recall

Ace Bayou is recalling about 2.2 million bean bag chairs following the death of 2 children. Zippers on the bags can be opened by children. They can crawl inside, become trapped, and suffocate by inhaling the chair’s foam beads. Two zippers can be unzipped. One zipper’s on the outside cover, the other’s inside the bag.

Recall includes vinyl, as well as, fabric bags. The bags can be either round or L-Shaped. Round bags were sold in 30, 32, and 40 inch sizes. L-shaped bags measured 18 inches wide, 30 inches deep, and 30 inches high. Colors include: red, purple, violet, blue, pink, yellow, Kelly green, black, port, navy, lime, royal blue, turquoise, tangerine, and multi-color. “Ace Bayou Corp,” is printed on the tag.
